You challenge me now in old age - Kufuor makes fun ofNAPO on his birthday 



Former President John Agyekum Kufuor has insulted the Minister of Power, DrMatthew Opoku Prempeh, who is fondly called NAPO, that he is challenging him in his old age.

In a video made to celebrate the minister's 55th birthday today, May 23, 2023, he wondered why the Manhyia South MP is running so fast in the year. “NAPO, I heard that tomorrow is your birthday. You run so fast... you want to be an old man like me? If you were born in 1968, if you do the math, you are 54 or 55 years old now. However, many happy returns. I always advise you and want to encourage you to take it slow.God bless you,” he said. NAPO is a qualified physician and leaderof the New Patriotic Party (NPP) who was a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of the United Kingdom from 1999 to 2003. 

He studied biology and human medicine at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and completed his postgraduate studies at the Netherlands Institute of Health Sciences and the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. He is currently the Member of Parliament for Manhyia South Constituency in the Ashanti Region of Ghana and was theMinister of Education but nowthe Minister of Power.



Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh was born on May 23, 1968 inPakyi number 2 in the Ashanti region. Before joining Parliament, Prempeh served as the CEO of Keyedmap Security Services Limited from 2004 to 2009.
