Manchester City may be on the verge of hitting a fantastic treble this season, but that doesn't mean transfer plans are stalled.

The reality is quite the opposite, with new transfer reports suggesting Pep Guardiola's side are gearing up for a bumper summer transfer window.

City have won the Premier League - their fifth domestic title in six years, all under Guardiola - and are now gearing up for the FA Cup and Champions League finals, against Manchester United respectively. and Inter Milan.

But reports from the Mirror claim City are on the hunt for top targets before the summer, with Alexis Mac Allister, Julio Enciso, Joshua Kimmich and Josko Gvardiol all within their sights.

Brighton midfielder Mac Allister is most likely to leave this summer, with United and Liverpool also reportedly interested in the World Cup winner from Argentina. His teammate, Enciso, has featured in the second half of this Premier League season and, at just 19, the Paraguayan forward looks to have huge potential. Retaining Brighton's best players will be a big problem for manager Roberto de Zerbi this summer.

Bayern's mainstay Kimmich is a former student of Guardiola and could give us a bit more and flexibility in the backline and Man City's midfield if he leaves Munich. Meanwhile, Gvardiol - who almost joined Chelsea from RB Leipzig in January - is a highly sought-after left-footed centre-back who could also fit in perfectly into City's squad.

None of the players will be cheap. But it's bad news for City's rivals, who might think the Etihad club could rest on its laurels after unprecedented success in recent years.

They will become only the second English club in history - after Sir Alex Ferguson's side in 1999 - to complete the treble if they win the final next month.

United's mission is to put the wrench in their hands at Wembley in the FA Cup final on June 3. The confrontation with Inter in Istanbul in the European Cup will take place a week later, on June 10.
