LaLiga is the first flight of football in Spain and one of the top five leagues worldwide. The Spanish league previously held the distinction of being the best league in the world. The main causes of this include high levels of competition, strong teams, and a huge number of outstanding players. At one point, Kaka, Ozil, Messi, Ronaldo, Griezmann, and many other players all participated in the league concurrently. There are other instances that show how long the league has existed, and this is only one of them.

In such a fiercely contested league, several players have dominated the Player of the Year Award. Now let's look at Below is a list of the top four LaLiga players to win Player of the Year.

Top Four players, including Cristiano Ronaldo, who have won the most LaLiga Player of the Year awards

A. Lionel Messi (9).

Lionel Messi, the greatest player in LaLiga and FC Barcelona history, has dominated the Spanish league. Throughout his career, the Argentine has earned Player of the Year nine times. This demonstrates his superiority by containing players like Cristiano Ronaldo. In addition, Messi took home the first Player of the Year Award in the 2008–09 campaign.

The 2011–12 season was Messi's most productive in terms of goals scored. In 37 La Liga games, Lionel Messi scored an incredible 50 goals, giving him a total of 91 goals for the season. the highest mark that nobody has ever gotten close to.

Cristiano Ronaldo, number two

Along with Lionel Messi, CR7 is perhaps the best player in football history. The top scorer for Real Madrid has broken numerous LaLiga and UEFA Champions League records. For Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo has scored more goals than he has played. In 438 games in all competitions, he has 450 goals.

The fact that Cristiano Ronaldo has only ever received the Player of the Year Award is surprising. Ronaldo won the prize after scoring 31 goals in 30 LaLiga games during the 2013–14 season.

Karim Benzema, 3.

Karim Benzema frequently played in Cristiano Ronaldo's absence, which allowed him to emerge into his full potential. In terms of scoring goals, he successfully filled Ronaldo's shoes and did not dissapoint. In the 2019–20 season, Karim received his first LaLiga Player of the Year Award. The Frenchman led Real Madrid to the La Liga championship in 2019–20 with 21 goals.

Another Player of the Year Award went to Karim Benzema in the 2021–22 campaign, a season that will go down in history. Karim Benzema led both the La Liga and the UEFA Champions League in goals scored and was named Player of the Year in both competitions. Benzema scored 44 goals in 46 appearances total, including 27 goals in 32 La Liga games. In conclusion, he also won the Ballon d'Or, the UEFA Champions League, and LaLiga.

Antoine Griezmann, No. 4,

When Griezmann joined FC Barcelona, everything went horribly wrong. The Frenchman decided to return to Atletico Madrid after failing to live up to his price tag. However, Griezmann never disappoints for Atletico Madrid. His goal total as of the 2022–23 season is 11.

In the 2015–16 season, the World Cup winner displayed his talent and potential. In total, Griezmann had 39 goals and assists in 54 games while scoring 22 goals in 38 LaLiga games. In the same season, he ultimately took home the LaLiga Player of the Year Award.
