Real Madrid plotting shock £40m bid for Liverpool fan favourite, Jurgen Klopp won't want to lose him
According to reports, Real Madrid are planning a move to the 'fan favorite' from Liverpool this summer.
Liverpool have had a tumultuous season at Merseyside and are absent from the Champions League for the first time since 2016.
In turn, Jurgen Klopp is set to make major changes to his squad this summer, with several players set to leave Anfield.

Spanish giants Real Madrid are on the hunt for a left-back this summer ahead of the expected departure of France international Ferland Mendy.
They have been closely linked with a move to Alphonso Davies from Bayern Munich, but the German club insist he is not being sold for any price and hope to extend his contract which expires in 2025.
Then, Los Blancos turned their attention to Robertson as a potential alternative, according to the Daily Mail.
Making 62 appearances for Scotland, he has won the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup since joining Liverpool from Hull City in 2017. The report said Robertson would cost more than £40m due to his "world-class status".

However, Jurgen Klopp does not seem ready to let him go, as they have relied heavily on the defender for the past six seasons.
While the player himself has a contract until 2026, he does not want to leave.
Furthermore, Klopp may be even less reluctant to face a 14-time Champions League winner after beating the Red Devils to sign Aurelien Tchouameni last summer, and looks set to do same thing with Jude Bellingham.
