Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho has been warned by Dwight Yorke that he is running out of time to save his career at Old Trafford after another disappointing season.

Dwight Yorke is adamant that Jadon Sancho is on 'loan time' at Manchester United after failing to impress since the £73m blockbuster move from Borussia Dortmund.

The England winger, 23, is nearing the end of his second season at Old Trafford and is still trying to quell criticism after a disappointing debut season.

United favorite Yorke, who was part of the team that won the iconic treble in 1999, has not impressed Sancho since his move from Germany to the Premier League - and he has even thinks this big man's long-term future may be in jeopardy unless he can turn things around soon.

Speaking to Mirror Football on behalf of aceodds.com, Yorke said of Sancho:

"Yes, it's really a mystery. He has a lot of potential and hope for Manchester United. Great investment, really did a great job while he was at Dortmund.

"Somehow the transition from there to Manchester didn't really go the way we all thought it would for him. [He] was really struggling, both physically and mentally. mentally, this seems well documented, it doesn't match the price tag.

"So yeah, he's on loan, I guess, if you have to be fair in many ways. He didn't really produce the goods that we expected of him."

Sancho has only scored five goals in 24 appearances for Manchester United this season - a far cry from the impressive numbers he achieved during his hugely successful time in the Bundesliga with Dortmund.

Dwight Yorke thinks Jadon Sancho is on 'loan time' at Manchester United

Earlier in the season, talkSPORT pundit and former Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor criticized the winger's reluctance to attack opposing players and called Sancho's hobby of passing 'boring'. for three teammates at Old Trafford.

Speaking in October, Agbonlahor said:

“Sancho, he takes the ball and passes it back. If I were Luke Shaw, I would say:

"Don't pass it to me, I'm giving the ball to you so get someone." At Dortmund, he does it every week. "His confidence was too low, did he feel he didn't have the speed or the cunning to get past the opponent? He left the field in the 52nd minute for Fred. It showed that they had to let Fernandes play. attacking in the last 35 minutes, Rashford went left and Antony went right as Sancho was unable to play.

"How many times do you have to face him? If you were [Cristiano] Ronaldo, you're probably thinking:

'How many chances will this guy have?'. [You have] Elanga, how many times will Sancho get a chance to play for Manchester United, because he's not playing."
