As he gets ready to depart Liverpool, Roberto Firmino has thoughtfully packed 200 gift boxes for friends, family, teammates, and club personnel.

Following an emotional farewell for Anfield last weekend, in which he once again scored an essential goal for the team to save a point against Aston Villa, the striker is preparing for his final game in a red shirt.

The Brazilian, who is renowned for his bright smile and keen eye for goal, stated earlier this season that he would be leaving the team and would become a free agent when his contract expires in the summer.

Following a farewell party at the stadium on Sunday, where speeches were given over a three-course meal, it appears he has been planning to give some of his closest friends and family a parting gift.

One person who spoke up was Jurgen Klopp, who praised the 31-year-old as a "really special player" and said a few things.

During the farewell dinner, Klopp remarked, "You are so football knowledgeable, you are the first to get the workout in training sessions.

It's like the expression "Ah, okay, go for it" that you may have seen once. With all the technical stuff, it's incredibly unique and it helps to shape the player you are, but your football IQ is outstanding.

"That all contributes to who you are as a player and is good."

The Brazilian, who has already scored 110 goals in 361 appearances for Liverpool in all competitions, had planned for everyone in attendance to be given a gift bag after the occasion.

In a video on Florian Plettenberg's Twitter, the smart parcels can be seen, with the interior of the box sporting a mural of some of Firmino's finest accomplishments while donning a Liverpool jersey, before saying: "Thank you for being part of this story."

A autographed Firmino shirt and a bottle of cologne were also included in the boxes.

He [Firmino] prepared 200 gift boxes for his farewell, according to Plettenburg. On Sunday night in Liverpool, he delivered them to his visitors, who included club personnel, teammates, friends, and family.

He autographed a customized shirt, and Firmino also made a cologne especially for the occasion. It was a really emotional party.

Talks with prospective new clubs will begin right away. He hasn't thought about other teams yet out of respect for Liverpool.

Although it's still unknown what Firmino will do next, Mail Sport has already stated that Real Madrid and Barcelona are keeping an eye on his position.

The forward, who was spotted in tears as he said goodbye to the Anfield supporters at the weekend, had a very emotional final game at Anfield.

Firmino became a fan favorite among the Liverpool supporters after signing from Hoffenheim in 2015 and scored many significant goals, such as the game-winning goal in the 2019 Club World Cup or that crucial hat-trick against Arsenal in 2018.

Additionally, he has scored numerous crucial goals this year, including a last-second equalizer against Arsenal in April.
