Football.london's Blues reporters anticipate the starting lineup for Frank Lampard's Premier League matchup between Manchester United and Chelsea on Thursday night.

The 2022–23 Premier League season's tenth and final game will be played on Thursday night at Old Trafford between Chelsea and Manchester United.

With their second consecutive journey to Manchester and their final match against Newcastle United at Stamford Bridge this weekend, the Blues' terrible season is finally almost over. Last time out, Chelsea lost 1-0 to newly crowned Premier League winners Manchester City, but interim head coach Frank Lampard saw some encouraging signs in his team's performance.

It's practically impossible to predict Lampard's starting lineup at this point in the season because he is still rotating among Chelsea's vast roster of players. Bobby Vincent and Scott Trotter of football.london, though, have made a good effort. As always, let us know in the comments area below who, if anyone, you agree with.

After being out for one match, Kepa Arrizabalaga made his comeback against Man City in the 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest. I fully anticipate the Spanish goalkeeper to maintain his position for Chelsea in what might be a demanding game against a powerful Man United attacking line.

A back three formation was used by Lampard versus City last weekend, which was not unexpected considering the champs' significant offensive threat. The interim Blues manager might follow suit on Thursday when playing United, their rivals.

Cesar Azpilicueta didn't play well against City, therefore he might not make the starting lineup for the trip to Old Trafford. Ruben Loftus-Cheek, a central midfielder who has frequently filled in as a right wing-back this season, might step in. On the other flank, Lewis Hall will aim to maintain his current outstanding performance.

Enzo Fernandez is a given; the Chelsea midfielder has started each and every game since his over-£100 million January signing. With a front-three, we could damage United on the break.

Noni Madueke has performed well in recent games and might rejoin the team. The same goes for Raheem Sterling, who is aiming to start over players like Mykhailo Mudryk and Joao Felix who are now on the bench. In Manchester, Kai Havertz will be the line leader.

Kepa, Fofana, Silva, Koulibaly, Loftus-Cheek, Fernandez, Gallagher, Hall, Sterling, Madueke, and Havertz make up Bobby's starting XI.

Chelsea still has two games left but has nothing to play for. After a strong performance against their crosstown rivals on Thursday, Lampard might be tempted to start a team similar to the one that faced Manchester City. However, since the match against Manchester United is the last one that matters to the opposition, it might be more appropriate to give Bluell be around opportunities.

future period.

With a back three of Fofana, Silva, and Trevoh Chalobah in front of Kepa with Hall and Azpilicueta in place as wing-backs, there won't be much opportunity for maneuvering across the backline. Maybe Loftus-Cheek will assume his captain's spot on the right, where he can help the midfield assist Gallagher and Fernandez.

David Datro Fofana might be worth of an opportunity from the bench, but Mudryk and Madueke could move to the wings and support Havertz even though both have plenty to learn. However, Carney Chukwuemeka could be better off coming up from his role as a substitute to support the forward and from midfield.

Kepa, Fofana, Silva, Chalobah, Loftus-Cheek, Fernandez, Gallaher, Hall, Madueke, Havertz, and Chukwuemeka make up Scott's starting XI.
