A Twitter user identified as @fisaolonge decided to take it upon herself and ask the most interesting question. While most females tend to get help easily on their wedding day and even after marriage when they are in need or crisis, it turns out most men do not get much help from their friends and that’s a discussion that needs to be tackled, they are left to fight their own battles that’s the perception of most ladies, in the comments men expressed how they help themselves when their friends are getting married and even after the marriage... The thread derived a lot of reactions from users, the thread and comments gathered from users are highlighted below;
“So many men have friends that show up for them when they get married? Every time I've been a bridesmaid, my fellow bridesmaids are trying to be of service on the wedding day e.g. on the floor packing sprayed money, and the men are just enjoying. I feel like this is the norm. Misogyny and all the bullshit aside, I'm grateful to be a woman. My female friendships have blessed and transformed my life in a way that just wouldn't happen otherwise”.

“Funny that most of the money you the bridesmaid
pick is sprayed mostly by the "Men". The same men
serve drinks, use their cars to carry people especially
bridesmaids, help with security, send huge financial
support via transfer while still "enjoying".

“The problem with female friendships is that it is flashy. E dey an easily enter eye. Men's friendships are subtle. Do you think it's your husband who brought all the money for your wedding? Or bought drinks? Money from two or three of those "lazy men" might have paid for your gown”.

“Omo, unless the friends are useless sha. In many cases, men's groomsmen do a lot of heavy lifting financially. The hotel some brides and their friends enjoy is sometimes sponsored by the groom's friends. By the wedding day, they're most often exhausted from driving & other things”.
@banksofCalgary
“They support financially
They help to serve
They lend their cars to the groom
Sometimes they act as chauffeurs
Anything their guy needs, they will show up”.
@Taichimastar•
“The Bachelor's Eve you people attend is organized by men. The money you pick up at the reception is sprayed by men. The after-party you enjoy is organized by men. Even the hotel you sleep in after the party is still on the men. Think about what you just wrote”.
@lecomtephyn
“Lol picking money? His friends planned the whole
wedding, his friends credited him left right and
Centre.. cuz they are not picking money? Get
married then you will know .. while u and ur
bridesmaid are doing make-up, some men they
venue they do things”.
@esosaprecious
“Men actually contribute more than you can imagine,
they don't go broadcasting how they've assisted,
but you can't compare packing money to it. The
money bridesmaids pack, did they fall from the sky?
No
