FC Barcelona's marketing department is constantly working to help the club gain financial muscle and room for manoeuvre to act in the transfer market and strengthen the squad.
On Thursday, the club announced a "multi-year" sponsorship deal with TP Vision, the company responsible for the design, manufacture, and sales of Philips TV, Philips Sound, and AOC Audio products.
As SPORT has learned, the agreement signed by Barça and TP Vision, which will highlight Ambilight TV technology, is for three fixed years and two optional years.
Joan Laporta's mandate will end in 2026, and the president has opted for this commercial alliance format so that, in the event of changes in the institution's governance, it will be up to the new hierarchy to determine whether or not they wish to remain linked to the company dedicated to the world of visual entertainment.
Barça will earn more and more money from its sponsorship with TP Vision. The first season, €8 million; the second, €10m; the third and fourth, €12m; and the fifth, €14m. The last two seasons, as we have pointed out, will be optional.
Beyond the financial amounts agreed and the presence of the Ambilight TV logo on the sleeve of the shirt, the multinational Philips will also be responsible for providing audiovisual infrastructure for the revamped Spotify Camp Nou.
Andres Iniesta could join Messi, Busquets and Alba in Saudi Arabia
Andres Iniesta announced on Thursday that he will leave Vissel Kobe in the summer after reaching an agreement with the Japanese club with whom he had a contract until the end of the year. Iniesta, 39, believes he has the strength to continue playing at least until he is 40 and wants to enjoy football at another club where he can regain his place on the pitch.

Iniesta already has options on the table. One of them is Saudi Arabian football. The Middle Eastern country continues to tempt the great legends of world football to join their championship after achieving the first great incorporation with Cristiano Ronaldo.
Sergio Busquets has advanced contacts with Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal after announcing he would not renew with FC Barcelona. Al-Hilal itself plans to make a big offer to Leo Messi, close to €500 million per season and also has in mind to try to sign Jordi Alba, after the player from L'Hospitalet also announced his departure from Barça this summer.
If all the operations work out, it could be possible that four Barça legends could meet again in another league, such as the Saudi league. In any case, negotiations are at an early stage and none of the four have signed for another team.
Iniesta, for example, has other options on the table. One of them is Major League Soccer, where he has received interest from Inter Miami to sign him. He has also received calls from other Middle Eastern leagues, such as Qatar and Abu Dhabi, to join their projects.
All these clubs value the impact of having a player of Iniesta's magnitude, who also wants to finish his career with the good taste of continuing to play regularly, something that did not happen in Kobe this year.
In any case, Iniesta will end his relationship with Vissel on a good note and, once his playing career is over, he will rejoin the Japanese club in their sporting structure.
