A Nigerian lady sparked conversations online with a thread made. According to the user identified on the micro-blogging platform Twitter as @Tee_classiquem1,  quoted the phrase most ladies tend to use today, Body count doesn't matter if a man can sleep with 40 women a woman can also sleep with 40 men".

Body counts do not matter if people want to be in a relationship. In today's world, most people tend to show concern in knowing the body count of their various partners and have witnessed stories where a relationship ends when one finds out the body count of their partners. Hence she advised women to make sure whatever it is they do, they wouldn’t regret it later.

For context, read her thread below;

"Body count doesn't matter, if a man can sleep with 40 women a woman can also sleep with 40 men"

“You are right, but as a young lady who is about to get married, can you boldly tell your man you've slept with 40 men in your life? will your parent be proud of you to even hear it?

Even can you be proud to say it? This delusional thought that men and women are judged the same will eventually lead many of you to where you don't know, the earlier you understand that a man worth is tied to his value and not his body the better for you”.

Her tweet generated a whole of conversations and a few of them are highlighted below;

@olajidefaith05•

“I believe you could have generalized this thing

rather than making it gender-based. You are right, agreed, but, this would only encourage men to further have as many sexual partners as they could before eventually settling down”.

@HeavenlyDao1 •

“Y'all saying they should forget the past, do you know that your past actions determine what or where you are today either negatively or positively? Likewise what you are into now will say or determine your tomorrow. There is no shortcut, live a life you would be proud of now”.

@callmekay•

“Women are judged on what they have done in

their past, men are judged on what they had to

offer in the future... It will be so delusional to think men

and women will be judged the same way… It is the

bitter truth and it is like that everywhere, not only

in Africa”.

@DARLIN...

“I would rather not tell nor ask any lady that is into

with, let the past be past, because it would give

me negative mindset each time I saw her”.
