The court adjourned the criminal trial of James Gyakye Quayson until June 16
The trial of James Gyakye Quayson, former MP for Assin North, who is facing charges of perjury and other crimes, theHigh Court of Accra has extended the trial to June 16, 2023.
During the hearing, Quayson'slegal team told the court that they have not received some of the documents they requested from the Attorney General's office regarding the case. Deputy Attorney General Alfred Tuah-Yeboah told the court that the defendant'sfailure to receive thedocuments was only due to a clerical error.
