The principal of Benkum SHS has been banned for allegedly having sex with 15 students 




The Ghana Education Service (GES) has taken action against Emmanuel Nyarko to investigate his involvement with 15 students in the school he runs. This incident is said to have happened in 2022 when some teachers in the school who were accused of engaging in such activities said that Mr. Nyarko committed a crime when efforts were being made to transfer them to different schools. 

The Deputy
 Spokesperson for the Ministry of Education, Yaw Opoku Mensah, in an interview with CITI FM, confirmed that the regional GES is conductingthe investigation. According to him, the school supports GES to ensure that research continues.The Education Department is also looking closely, he said. Mr.Mensah further said that the results of the investigation will be forwarded to the GES headquarters in Accra for further action. 

"The
 investigation has begunand the regional education bodyin charge of the school has opened the way for the initiation of an investigation for the director to allow or remove so that the committee has the necessary conditions to conduct an investigation according to the GES Code. of conduct, Mr. Mensah said. "The ministry is monitoring the situation as it develops, and we encourage the public to remaincalm and participate in the investigation process. But ultimately, a report on the outcome of the investigationwill be shared with the GES in advance office for doing more things to be done.. taken," he added.
