The principal of Benkum SHS has been banned for allegedly having sex with 15 students
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has taken action against Emmanuel Nyarko to investigate his involvement with 15 students in the school he runs. This incident is said to have happened in 2022 when some teachers in the school who were accused of engaging in such activities said that Mr. Nyarko committed a crime when efforts were being made to transfer them to different schools.
The Deputy Spokesperson for the Ministry of Education, Yaw Opoku Mensah, in an interview with CITI FM, confirmed that the regional GES is conductingthe investigation. According to him, the school supports GES to ensure that research continues.The Education Department is also looking closely, he said. Mr.Mensah further said that the results of the investigation will be forwarded to the GES headquarters in Accra for further action.
