Liverpool target Levi Colwill aims subtle dig at parent club Chelsea when asked about his future
Liverpool target Levi Colwill has been aiming to get to know his parent club Chelsea.
The Red Devils are tipped to make some changes to their squad this summer, after a disappointing season.
The Merseyside club will target a specific midfielder, with Ryan Gravenberch, Mason Mount and Alexis Mac Allister all linked.
However, Jurgen Klopp also wants to add to his backline, with Crystal Palace's Marc Guehi and Chelsea's Levi Colwill both targeted.

And the latter appears to have been aiming for a subtle dig into the Blues when asked about his future, which could get the Liverpool recruitment team's attention. Colwill's Exquisite Mining
Colwill, who has been loaned to Brighton this season, has suggested he would rather stay with the Seagulls for another season, or head to new pastures rather than stay at Chelsea.

When asked about his future, the 20-year-old told Athletic:
Brighton has done so much for me. They trust me when others don't and I'm a giver. We shall see.
"I don't know what will happen (with Chelsea). I'm still here until the end of the season. I just focus on that, and then I have the Euro (European Under-21 Championship with England) this summer.
"Then we'll see what happens and start from there."
Mauricio Pochettino will soon be confirmed as Chelsea's new head coach and is said to be keen to build a squad around a core group of homegrown players. Indeed, Colwill was clearly part of those plans.

However, while Chelsea do not want to sell, the midfielder has only two years left on his current contract. A new contract has been discussed for some time but he is reluctant to sign without assurances that he will feature regularly next season.
In return, Colwill could be sold if the Blues have difficulty dealing with the player's future.
