NEWCASTLE'S 11-MAN SUMMER TRANSFER WISHLIST IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS, THEY'RE READY FOR FOOTBALL

Newcastle United fans could have an exciting summer as the club consider moves for Harry Kane and Neymar.

Newcastle has a reputation as a party town, so it's safe to assume some Geordies were active on Tuesday.

On Monday, the Warblers entered the top four with a 1-1 draw against Leicester, meaning they will play in the Champions League for the first time since 2003.

Eddie Howe has done a great job in charge this season, as his side played the best football they've seen at St James' Park in decades.

What's most impressive is that Newcastle have climbed up the Premier League table without actually splurging on star players. Since taking over the club in 2021, the Saudi owners have revamped the squad with a mix of astute rookies and promising young players.

Club record £63m Alexander Isak is an outlier in this respect, but that could soon change.

According to Spanish newspaper AS, Newcastle are planning a summer transfer window that could rival Real Madrid's spending levels during the 'Galacticos' era.

In the early 2000s, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez spent a lot of money building an all-star squad that included David Beckham, Ronaldo Nazario, Zinedine Zidane and Luis Figo.

Newcastle's main target is rumored to be Harry Kane, whose future at Tottenham Hotspur is hanging in the balance after the club experienced a disappointing season. Harry Kane is expected to leave Tottenham this summer. (Image:

Spurs have once again failed to win any silverware and look set to miss European football next season.

Kane, who has never been shy about expressing his desire to win titles, may be tempted to move to the Northeast.

Another name on the star shortlist is Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar.

The 31-year-old striker joined PSG from Barcelona in 2017 and won four league titles as well as a Champions League final. Advertisement

In recent seasons, his relationship with the club and fans has deteriorated to the point that he is no longer happy in Paris.

Some of the slightly less flashy - though still expensive - names thought to be on Newcastle's radar are Leicester City's James Maddison, Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch, Chelsea loanee Joao Felix and Arsenal's target is Moussa Diaby.

Eberechi Eze, Mohammed Kudus, Dominik Szoboszlai, Samuel Chukwueze and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic complete the 11-man shortlist.

Players like Miguel Almiron and Bruno Guimaraes have lit up St James this season, but they could soon have new superstar teammates.
