This summer, Mikel Arteta must make a difficult decision because it appears that Arsenal will sign two experienced right backs to compete with Ben White.

Despite Ben White's stellar performances, Mikel Arteta appears determined to increase his right-back alternatives this summer. The 25-year-old defender, who received a lot of criticism during his first season with Arsenal, has now established himself as a mainstay in the team's defense.

White, whose contract at the Emirates Stadium expires in 2026, has played in every Premier League game for the Gunners this season, contributing to his team's 13 shutouts. Even while the England international's position in the starting lineup may not be the most glamorous, Bukayo Saka has been able to lead a title charge thanks to it.

Arteta is rumored to be looking for a new right-back to keep White on his toes because he wants to build on the enormous improvement that has been made at London Colney. The club's first Champions League campaign since 2016/17 is also being prepared for by the Spaniard, thus Arsenal will undoubtedly require more legs the following season.

Nevzat Dindar claims that Arsenal has offered Galatasaray €17 million (£14.7 million) for Sacha Boey. The 22-year-old defender's future with the Turkish giants is becoming more uncertain after publicly declaring his intention to depart last month.

According to the article, Galatasaray expects to want €25 million (£21.7 million) and won't allow Boey to depart for less. According to reports, Erden Timur, vice-president of the Turkish organization, visited London earlier this week to talk about a prospective deal for the Frenchman.

Boey, who still has two years left on his contract in Istanbul, thinks it's time to advance in his career. "I've experienced the lows and the highs [with Galatasaray], he said in a statement to L'Equipe. My performance is now reliable. I believe it's time to turn the corner, but depending on what transpires at the end of the season, we'll know for sure.

The 31-year-old would undoubtedly bring crucial Champions League experience, but his desire to remain puts a wrench in Arteta's plans to rebuild.
