Manchester United secured their place in the Champions League with a 4-1 win over Chelsea at Old Trafford on Thursday night. Casemiro gave the Reds the lead when the Brazil international headed home in the sixth minute. Anthony Martial scored ahead of time, with Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford also scoring to give the hosts all three points.
Manchester United go into the game against Chelsea knowing they are just one point away from securing a place in the top four. And Casemiro helped them open the scoring early, as the Samba star took the lead thanks to a precise Christian Eriksen pass.
United suffered a blow when Antony was dropped from the competition, with the former Ajax star now uncertain for next month's FA Cup final.
But they doubled their advantage thanks to Martial's strike seconds before the break, with the France international scoring his ninth goal of the season in the process, Fernandes and Rashford also scoring to secure the result.

When United signed Jadon Sancho in the summer 2021 transfer window, they planned to use him as a right winger. Since then, the England international has taken on a variety of roles throughout his time at the club.
But there's always been a feeling he could still be an option in that position, having impressed against Chelsea.
Sancho set up Martial for a goal and looked like a threat when he played in a position he had performed so well before at Borussia Dortmund.
Antony is suspected for the cup final but there is still hope that another big signing could bring the Reds as they look to stop Manchester City's attacking trio.
