Each season, clubs from Europe's top five leagues do their best to ensure they qualify for the European competitions of the UEFA Champions League, Europa League and UEFA Conference League.
As the 2022/2023 season draws to a close, most clubs are doing their best to make use of the remaining fixtures in order to qualify for European football. 19 clubs have now qualified for the group stage of the UEFA Champions League 2023/2024.
In the English Premier League, Manchester City, Arsenal, Newcastle United and Manchester United have qualified for next season's UEFA Champions League. Manchester United won 4-1 against Chelsea in the EPL Round of 32 match to qualify. The Red Devils are currently third on the EPL standings with 72 points. This means Liverpool and Brighton will be in the Europa League next season.
La Liga champions Barcelona, ??Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid have qualified for next season's UCL. Real Sociedad and Villarreal are competing for the remaining position.
Napoli and Lazio qualify for Serie A. The remaining two matches will decide who will win tickets for the remaining two places between AC Milan, Inter Milan and Atalanta.
Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig have determined their place in next season's UEFA Champions League in the Bundesliga.

Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita is leaving the club on a free transfer this summer, and it's fair to say it's a signing that wasn't expected much.
