Let's get down to business, focus on the art of Alan - Sly Tetteh said

Sylvester Tetteh, New Patriotic Party (NPP) MP for Bortianor-Ngleshie-Amanfro, called on supporters of the party'spresidential candidates to focus on the skills of their members.

Sly Tetteh, as he is known, is a pro-Alan Kyerematen MP who wants the former trade minister to be the NPP flag bearer in the 2024 elections. He asked Alan'sfellow supporters to repeat the main mantra in the campaign built around 'aduro no so', which means 'it's his time' in Twi, to convey Alan's time and effort inpursuing his dream of captaincy. chair.

Sly was reacting to a recent interview with former health minister Richard Anane, who said it was not right to use the mantra as he had the right. "What Dr Anane is saying, I think it is a warning to Alan's fans that he thinks we are focusing too much on Alan's endurance instead of his skills, which I share share in all humility.

"In
terms of competence, loyalty and ability, if you put Alan Kyerematen up there, I doubt anyone in this country would look up to Alan and -based on his background, in terms of education, performance and achievementto say that Alan is not qualified. ,” he said on the May 25 edition of Metro TV's Good Morning Ghana. He stressed that all thehopefuls in the race so far are qualified "but Alan is qualified in his own right, which is enough to be a market for good Ghanaians."

He added that the NPP will enter the 2024 elections with Alans record as a minister citing his instrumentality in flagship programs such as the 1D1F program, the progress in the carassembly hall and Alan's workin maintaining the African Mall which is in Ghana.

The NPP opened nominations for presidential aspirants on May 26, with a caucus to narrow the number of candidates down to five before this year's National Assembly elects a successor to Nana. Akufo-Addo as the leader of the group. Alan will face competition from among others, Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia; Former Secretary General Kwabena Agyepong and many others.
