Declan Rice is a key target for Bayern Munich, but 90min knows that they are not actively looking to acquire him.
The 24-year-old has been linked with a move to the Bavarian powerhouses in recent days, adding them to the list of teams that are increasingly interested in luring him away from the London Stadium.
Because of his continuously excellent performances for West Ham, Rice has caught the attention of Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, and Newcastle. Manchester United is still interested in Rice as they look to expand Erik ten Hag's midfield options.
Although West Ham is aware that keeping Rice, who has two years left on his contract, will be difficult, they are adamant in their estimation of his worth. The Hammers think Rice is worth at least £100m in the current market, and sources have told 90min that the club has no intention of compromising on that price - either it is fulfilled or a transfer won't take place.
Although the club, and head coach Thomas Tuchel, appreciate Rice's ability and believe that he could make a significant impact in both the Bundesliga and Champions League, 90min understands that a deal is not viewed as a priority. Bayern's record transfer purchase is Lucas Hernandez, who cost just under £70 million.
Despite the unexpected uncertainty over the future of midfielder Joshua Kimmich, Bayern is instead looking to replace the guaranteed goals supply of Robert Lewandowski, who left last summer to join Barcelona after eight incredibly successful seasons in Munich.
Harry Kane of Tottenham is still Bayern's top target, and like with Rice, a deal is feasible should the club decide to make a formal proposal.
However, unless they are able to produce cash through the sale of Sadio Mane - who will be permitted to leave the Allianz Arena if the price is right - and Lucas Hernandez, who has reached an agreement on personal terms with PSG - doing so may jeopardize their ability to organize future transfers. There is no assurance that Rice or Kane would go to Germany.
