The sad news reaching me has it that, a student has allegedly died in one of the primary schools after the student was punished by a teacher in the school. The school is identified to be a Methodist ‘B’ school lactated in one of the communities of Swedru. According to reports, the student was I’ll and asked the teacher not to cane him on his back but the teacher refused and lashed him anyways leading to his eventual death. It was also gathered, the 13-year-old student was rushed to the hospital after the punishment and the sickness worsened, however, he eventually joined the ancestors. The sad news is fast circulating and users are commenting on it. As of the writing of this article, there has not been any confirmation of the teacher being arrested or not, however, according to some online reports, the police have been involved and investigations have commenced.
