According to a report, several big names are leaving Manchester United this summer and one player has told friends he is looking to leave the club.
United boss Erik ten Hag has confirmed he plans to make changes to his squad in the next transfer window as he looks to bring the Premier League title back to Old Trafford.
Speaking after United's 4-1 win over Chelsea on Thursday night, which secured the club's Champions League place next season, Ten Hag said:
“We want to compete for the title but you have to be realistic and be able to say before you have your team at the end of the transfer window and the winter transfer window what you can do.
"The team is there and you can tell if it's realistic or not. We're far away now, so we have a lot of work to do. Advertisement
"We're making progress on this team in this team, but we need better players if we want to compete for the top spot."
It is not yet clear what budget Ten Hag will have to spend this summer, with uncertainty surrounding club ownership complicating matters further.
Some reports suggest the Dutchman could have as little as £100m to spend, although that figure could be boosted by player sales.
