Bags being packed, goodbyes and advice being given by parents to their children, it's evident that the academic semester is slowly drawing nearer and nearer. There are a whole lot of mixed emotions on the part of the students. Some are really excited to be back in school, due to the boredom they experienced at home. Others are also dreading the whole experience, due to the fun activities they engaged in. All in all, one cannot shirk off the fact that the academic clock is ticking. Inasmuch as most of us are not prepared for it, we need to psych our minds and brace ourselves for it anyways. On the other hand, there is a great deal of excitement on the part of the level 400 students, as this period marks the end of their academic journey in the university. On the other hand, the level 300 students, are also putting in massive efforts in order to move up the academic ladder of a new level, which is level 400.
Both level 100s and 200s, are also preparing themselves for school. Payment of fees, as well as disbursement and registration of courses, are being done simultaneously in order to have access to the online learning materials. Students who also wish to reside in the hostels are also making the necessary reservations and payments, in order to have access to the amenities the hostels provide. Though there has been a few challenges with regards to the hostel reservation as courses registration, management of the school are trying their very best to help resolve these issues at hand.
With that being said, I say "Akwaaba" to all level 100s and 200s. Remember to give it your very best shot once and for all. Learn to socialize, make the very best out of your lectures and also relax when necessary. To the level 300s, I say Congratulations, on your success in your end of semester exams. And to the level 400s, I say a very big Congratulations to you all for persevering and reaching the finish line on your degree attainment. There is a lot more to achieve in the corporate world and I wish you the very best in your journey outside the walls of campus.
