According to 90min, Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham are nearing an agreement on the parameters of a summer transfer.
Over the past year, Bellingham has been pursued by the majority of Europe's elite, but Real stepped ahead of the competition when they reached a personal terms agreement with the 19-year-old last month.
Bellingham has agreed to the details of a six-year contract at Madrid that will have a €1 billion release clause. His preference is to join Real this summer.
The only thing left was for the two parties to agree on a transfer cost. The desire of Real to match Dortmund's long-stated asking price of roughly €150 million to part ways with Bellingham has now been verified by sources, according to 90min.
Real and Dortmund have reached an agreement on the terms of a transaction worth an initial €100 million, plus an additional €50 million in add-ons, to get the transfer closer to completion, during meetings this week in Germany.
