Bayern Munich are Bundesliga champions for the 11th consecutive season after Borussia Dortmund shuffled their squad on a dramatic final day in Germany.
Bayern Munich have sacked Oliver Kahn and Hasan Salihamidzic just minutes after Thomas Tuchel's side won the club's 11th consecutive Bundesliga title. Salihamidzic was even in the stands in Cologne while Kahn was at home as Bayern endured a fearsome finish to beat FC Koln 2-1 as Borussia Dortmund snuffed out the chance to end their opponents' lingering dominance. .
Bayern led Cologne in the first half to really increase the pressure on Dortmund, who were 2-0 down in the first half at home to Mainz.
Sebastien Haller also missed a penalty in that period, but Dortmund were ultimately saved when Cologne leveled at the end of the day. But Dortmund were unable to capitalize on Niklas Sule's late equalizer after Jamal Musiala scored an impressive win for Bayern, who had his name engraved on the trophy.
However, there was one more turning point for Bayern amid their jubilant title celebrations as reports from Germany recorded that Kahn and Salihamidzic had been sacked full-time.
The Bosnian player looked through his fingers in the upper stands and even went down to the pitch to celebrate wildly after Bayern won the championship.
