Manchester City forward Erling Haaland has won the Premier League Player of the Season and Young Player of the Season awards - an achievement no other player has achieved yet.
Erling Haaland has become the first player in history to win both Player of the Season and Young Player of the Season awards.
The 22-year-old has created a sensation in English football since completing a £51m move to Manchester City last summer. Haaland has scored 52 goals in 51 games to bring Pep Guardiola's men close to a remarkable hat-trick.
The Norwegian prodigy was awarded the Football Writers Guild's Men's Player of the Year award earlier this week - and now he's followed up with a historic double after winning both awards. The official prize of the tournament.
Haaland was honored after scoring 36 league goals this season - the highest by any player in Premier League history. His goals played a key role as Manchester City recovered from an eight-point lead over Arsenal in the title race.
And the former Borussia Dortmund ace can still mark his first Etihad campaign with two more bonuses:
City still have the FA Cup final and the Champions League final before their unstoppable side take a summer break.
After accepting the award for best at the FWA Awards earlier this week, Haaland insists his compatriot Martin Odegaard will also be a well-deserved winner for his impressive performances at Arsenal.
Prolific striker said:
"If I had to pick another player to win Player of the Year, I'd pick my Norwegian friend [Martin] Odegaard who had a really good season.

“There are also other teammates that can easily win because there are so many players in the Manchester City squad who have performed well this season. If you watch all of our games, you'll see that Rodri played solidly throughout the season.
“I think he's a bit hidden sometimes because he plays in midfield and he's the one who brings it all together. I don't want to say too many names, but maybe it could be one of them.
He also claimed that his Manchester City teammate Rodri could "easily" win the award. Hallland added:
