R47 Paris Saint-Germain tied Strasbourg 1-1 on Saturday night to win their record-tying 11th Ligue 1 championship.

Score Report
Going into the season's last matchday next week, Les Parisiens will hold an unassailable four-point advantage over Lens, who have now qualified for the Champions League group stages.

Early on, the visitors tried to defeat their hosts by throwing balls over the top for Kylian Mbappe, but they almost fell behind when Habibou Diallo expertly brought a high ball down and danced past Danilo Pereira before Gianluigi Donnarumma made a good save.

Mbappe's first real opportunity saw him skip and prance away from a group of Strasbourg defenders, but an Ismael Doukoure challenge prevented him from scoring a seemingly certain goal.

Lionel Messi brought the ball back from the ensuing corner for Renato Sanches to volley, but Matz Sels made a quick save.

After Mouhamadou Diarra defeated Sergio Ramos in an aerial fight, Diallo thundered a shot against the post with a touch from Donnarumma as PSG struggled to contain Strasbourg's barrage.

But at the hour mark, the visitors took the lead. Mbappe beautifully controlled Danilo's long pass over the top, and he set up Lionel Messi to score.

When Messi returned the favor minutes later, Mbappe should have doubled PSG's lead, but he managed to miss the target from a few yards away.

The Ligue 1 leaders were brought down with ten minutes left by a well-known name. Donnarumma deflected Morgan Sanson's shot, and Kevin Gameiro sprinted in front of Danilo to score into an empty net.

As the game neared its conclusion, Messi once more set Mbappe up for a goal, but Sels stopped him this time.

Both teams were content to play out the two minutes of stoppage time for a draw because a point would ensure Strasbourg's safety, and PSG's title would be sealed at the final siren.
