Allan McGregor and Scott Arfield, a veteran combination, are just two of the players leaving the team this summer.
Following the departure of Allan McGregor, Scott Arfield, and other players, Michael Beale is looking for players to "step up into leadership roles" in the upcoming season.
With their contracts set to expire this summer, veteran goalkeeper McGregor, 41, and midfielder Arfield, 34, together with Ryan Kent, Alfredo Morelos, and Filip Helander, have played their final matches for the Ibrox side.
For the trip to St. Mirren on Saturday, Robby McCrorie replaced McGregor in goal. Arfield came on as a second-half substitute in the 3-0 Scottish Premiership victory made possible by a brace from Fashion Sakala and a close-range goal from substitute Antonio Colak.
Beale told RangersTV that he is now seeking for new leaders and that he will restructure his team to compete with champions Celtic next season.
"Robby has come in and we have seen no change in terms of him coming in as a young goalkeeper taking over from someone like Allan, who has been a mainstay for many years," he remarked.
We're losing a lot of expertise and standards, so I want to specifically highlight him and Scott. As a result, I'm hoping one or two additional people will step up immediately.
We need one or two more people to take on those leadership responsibilities since those two players have already experienced it at this club and have experience playing in the Premier League.
Although St Mirren finished sixth, their highest league position since 1985, they failed to win any of their final seven games, suffering five losses and two draws, which prevented them from qualifying for Europe.
However, manager Stephen Robinson provided some perspective on the Buddies' challenging season finale.
"Maybe people only remember the last few games, but I want people to remember just how close we took Hearts - (2-2), a club much bigger than ours - and how close we took Celtic in every game we played them," the Northern Irishman remarked.
"It's understandable that we didn't live up to expectations for Europe. It serves as a building component, which I believe the fans enjoyed.
