A new four-year contract with Ethan Pinnock has been agreed upon by Brentford.
The defender, who turns 30 on Monday, has now committed to playing for the Bees through the 2027 summer season.
Pinnock, who transferred from Barnsley to Brentford in 2019, has appeared 153 times for the team.
"This is great news for Brentford and I am incredibly pleased that we have Ethan with us for four more years, I'm sure our fans are delighted," Bees manager Thomas Frank said on the club's official website. For the past four years, Ethan has been a mountain in our defense. He was essential to our ascent to the Premier League's upper half. He is an excellent player and a wonderful person.
The fact that he rose from non-league to the pinnacle of the sport so swiftly is a wonderful tale for him and for football. He transitioned into the Premier League with ease.He has shown himself to be a classic Brentford acquisition; he rises to every challenge; and we believe he still has room for growth. For us, Ethan has always been dependable and steady, and I have no doubt that will continue. He will spend the most productive years of his career with us, and we anticipate that he will contribute to the team's future success.
He's a great finisher who can utilize his left foot, right foot, and header, but the best gift he's given them is the ability to go quickly behind the ball.I find his goal total, which has utterly decimated the Premier League and is certain to increase, to be quite outstanding.
"I know he broke the record this year, and he'll probably break it again next year."
Frank emphasized the caliber of City's team while attempting to anticipate Guardiola's starting lineup.
They have 22 fantastic players, so who is the best? he said. (Aymeric) Laporte or (Ruben) Dias? That's two elite players, but I'm not sure even Pep recognizes that.
