MAJOR SYMPTOMS OF HIV/AIDS YOU SHOULD KNOW

HIV AIDS is a highly infectious disease that attacks the immune system of the human body. Hiv is such that your immune system becomes prone to various diseases that limit the work that your body does. It's specifically attack the red blood cells tha protects your immune system. 

In Ghana, most of the regions have people in it living with HIV which progresses to AIDS. So now lets us talk about how the symptoms of AIDS comes by. 

HIV is a highly sensitive topic we talk about. But do you know that you can actually be having hiv aids without you knowing. Therefore you need to check the signs and symptoms of hiv/Aids to be sure. 


Hiv can hide itself so much that you cant even see.

First, there would be enlarged lymph nodes in the neck and specifically the armpit. So if you kind of have recurrent swells in these areas then you have to seek medical attention.  This will manifest as swelling in the neck or armpit even in the groin. If this happens to you often, please go and see a doctor and check for HIV.

The second and most usual sign is sorethroat and sores in the mouth. You can have sorethroat which keeps coming and going and white patches in the mouth. Go and see a doctor immediately if you see this.


3rd is chronic diarrhoea. In the first week of hiv, you can have serious diarrhea about 5 times in a day and can have continuous diarrhea everyday for a month. This is also a serious sign of the chronic diarrhoea. 

These are the major Signs of hiv, of you are experiencing any of these symptoms, kindly visit the hospital for a check up.

The last sign is fatigue and headache. There would be a very serious headache which often does not go even with medication. Go and see a doctor if this happens.
