Neymar has been linked to Manchester United, and according to Willian, his compatriot would blaze a trail through the Premier League.

As he remains linked to a move to Manchester United, Neymar's old Brazil teammate Willian feels the attacker could star for any team in the world of football.

Since leaving Barcelona in 2017, Neymar has had a difficult time with Paris Saint-Germain, failing to win the Champions League and never playing more than 22 games in a single Ligue 1 season.

The 31-year-old was forced to watch PSG's Champions League round-of-16 loss to Bayern Munich from the sidelines after his ankle injury in March forced him to miss the rest of the season.

Both Neymar and teammate Lionel Messi have been mentioned as potential transfers with PSG's continued failure to win a continental championship.

After United secured a return to the Champions League, Old Trafford has been mentioned as a potential destination for the Brazil star, and Willian thinks he would flourish in England.

"Neymar, with the quality he has, performs anywhere," the Fulham winger said to Stats Perform.

"He can effortlessly perform with the skill and talent he possesses everywhere he goes in the globe.

"Watching him play in the Premier League would be awesome. He possesses the skills necessary to appreciate and play the beautiful game of football he knows no matter where he travels.

Because of his qualities, he can play on any team in the globe. You merely need to be aware of his desire to join United.

It's a fantastic club. If he moves there, he will undoubtedly be in a sizable club. Along with Chelsea, Liverpool, and Arsenal, this club is regarded as one of the biggest in England and has won numerous trophies in this country.

It would be fantastic to watch him in the Premier League if he visits England.

Neymar might be the newest Selecao player to play in the English Premier League, but Roberto Firmino, a fellow Brazilian, will leave Liverpool after his final match on Sunday.

Willian responded when asked about Firmino's influence on the Premier League: "He made history here. He is a player I greatly admire and consider to be a star.

"He won significant titles and made history at Liverpool. He is widely respected here in England and not just by Liverpool supporters. Here, he leaves a legacy.
