Following the Premier League announcement on Wednesday morning, there are only 19 days left until the start of the summer transfer window for Manchester United.

The window is set to begin on Wednesday, June 14 and will remain open until 11pm on Friday, September 1. This gives each of the top clubs, as well as those in the EFL, more than two months to complete their transfer business.

Last summer marked a major turning point for Old Trafford with the appointment of Erik ten Hag, making it one of the club's biggest transfers in years. Manchester United have won a total of six new signings, five of which have joined on permanent contracts, including notable players like Lisandro Martinez, Casemiro and Antony. While last summer was significant, the upcoming transfer window is equally important for Manchester United. Despite the progress made this season, the team still needs reinforcements to bolster Erik ten Hag's starting lineup and the team as a whole, providing much-needed depth in key areas.

As you know, recruiting strikers is the club's top priority this summer. Ten Hag is aiming to bring in a world-class goalscorer, with Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane on his wish list. However, Manchester United are cautious in tactical negotiations with Spurs and their chairman, Daniel Levy, and intend to approach the situation seriously. Acquiring Kane or any other top striker known for his prolific goalscoring ability would certainly have a significant impact on the Reds' transfer budget. As a result, they may be forced to strategize wisely for the rest of the summer recruiting campaign. Another player of interest is Napoli star Victor Osimhen, who remains a possible target for the team.

While not seen as a priority for the club, adding another attacking midfielder to the squad would be a smart move this summer. Bruno Fernandes was mostly in the No. 10 position throughout the season. Ten Hag is said to have been impressed with Aaron Wan-Bissaka's remarkable resurgence since the World Cup, which could potentially secure him a long-term future in the Under-16s, despite a career at United. His seems to have only ended a few months ago.

Furthermore, Ten Hag is keen to strengthen the right-back position and negotiations have taken place with Bayer Leverkusen's agent, Jeremie Frimpong. This suggests there is a slight chance that Diogo Dalot will leave as United want to avoid accumulating redundant players in the same position.

In addition, it is very likely that the service of the bodyguards will be enhanced. While David de Gea is negotiating a contract, Jack Butland's loan contract with Crystal Palace is about to expire. In addition, Tom Heaton's contract expires at the end of the season.
