The 2022/2023 Premier League season has ended. It was one of the most competitive seasons in football history. The fierce competition lies in the championship race between Manchester City and Arsenal, the top 4 race between Manchester United, Newcastle United, Liverpool and Brighton.

In the end, Manchester City overtook English Premier League champions Arsenal, Manchester United and Newcastle United to finish in fourth place.

The relegation battle is also close between Everton, West Ham United, Nottingham Forest, Leeds United, Leicester City and Southampton. Everton escaped relegation at the last minute with a 1-0 win over AFC Bournemouth in week 38. Leicester City, Leeds United and Southampton were eventually relegated. This means they will be playing in the EFL Championship next season.

The unique thing is that all the clubs promoted from the English Premier League in the 2022/2023 season have survived. Fulham is 10th with 52 points, AFC Bournemouth is 15th with 39 points and Nottingham Forest is 16th with 38 points. Burnley, Sheffield United and Luton Town are the newly promoted clubs for the 2023/2024 Premier League season.

Here are 20 clubs that will feature in the Premier League next season.

United will face Manchester City in the FA Cup final on June 3 and the Red Devils have been asked to avoid using a certain tactic.

According to retired midfielder Danny Murphy, Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea should be banned from behind against Manchester City in the FA Cup final.

The all-Manchester game will take place at Wembley on Saturday 3 June and United can stop Man City from trying to imitate their 1999 hat-trick.

Pep Guardiola's side have a Champions League final against Inter Milan ahead and win the Premier League to claim their fifth crown in six years. The Manchester derby will decide the FA Cup winner this season. City are expected to control the majority of possession during the encounter and United may have to change their usual tack when Erik ten Hag's men face Guardiola's men. The main player will pass from behind and Murphy believes De Gea should be banned from doing so to quell City's pressing threat.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Murphy said:

"United can't afford to give Man City anything and since the champions are good at pressuring and De Gea is not comfortable with his feet, I will ask him to take a kick. long. Whatever. Simple. Time.

"It's not the style that is going to win the championship but in the final against the best in Europe you have to do the right thing.

"And that means trying to free Rashford and Garnacho and as long as the midfielders get the second ball, that's it.

"Asking De Gea to play is troubling, so it's best to remove any uncertainty and explicitly ban him."

Murphy thinks Fred should start with Casemiro in the middle of the park. And when it comes to where Rashford should play, he believes the England international should be in the middle ahead of Anthony Martial and Wout Weghorst. He added:

Pep Guardiola has always been unpredictable but assuming he puts out his best team with Ruben Dias and John Stones in the middle, United need real pace in the centre-forwards so they can destabilize.

We know the Stones like to play in midfield so if United make a change they need to exploit Dias one on one.

"Anthony Martial is not faster than Dias and Wout Weghorst is just a little bit faster than my mother, so that means Rashford is in the midfield. He will make the Stones think twice before moving on.

Ten Hag has the benefit of having a substitute available on the left wing if he moves Rashford in from what I've seen, Alejandro Garnacho is a natural winger who can catch pigeons. Ten Hag could take that approach, but I'm not sure.
