The 2022-2023 season comes to an exciting end . Various leagues have crowned new champions and the battle for the golden boot has also been exciting. Diving straight to Italy, Napoli clinched their first Serie A title .They went on a trophy drought for 33 years but with the help of an excellent coach in the person of Luciano Spalleti and his wonderful back room staff, they were able to beat the likes of International Milan , Associazione Calcio Milan ( AC MILAN) etc to win the league .Also 

, we move straight to Spain where Barcelona have also been crowned league champions. This is Xavi’s greatest achievement as a manager . Barcelona had a rough start to the season in terms of signing of players and Losing some important players . Losing one of your greatest player ( Messi ) really brought them down a little bit but they were able to work hard and fought well to win the la liga trophy this season . They defeated their direct rivals Real Madrid and went on a dominant winning streak to win the league. Xavi has done a wonderful job and we need to give him his flowers . Furthermore, The English Premier League has been really exciting this season . We have witnessed the downfall of some of the best clubs and also seen some of the small clubs raise to the occasion. The season began with Arsenal running riot in the league . They won almost every game . This being one of their best seasons people were expecting them to at least win a trophy. The league aside, they were also playing the Europa league and some of the domestic leagues. You might say they wanted to focus on the Premier League that is why they were eliminated from Europa League and the other domestic cups they were fighting for.People were expecting them to keep on going and eventually win the league but they stumbled along the way and Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City took over . Man city have already won the league 3 times and the last 4 years. We were expecting a different club to win this season but things went south and Man city took over with a wonderful winning streak . They have also been crowned the league champions . Now they have won it 4 times in a 5 years and this is an amazing record . They are also fighting to win their first UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE. They will face International Milan in the final . Inter Milan have been good this season despite not winning the Serie A. They managed to fight their way to the UCL final and that speaks a lot of them .The German bundesliga produced one of the exciting football to end the season . Borussia Dortmund were clear favorites to lift the trophy.All they had to do was win their final game against Mainz at the Signal Iduna Park with over 5000 supporters cheering them up to victory. They were on top of the table with 70 Points and their direct rivals, Bayern Munich were behind them with 69 points . Dortmund needed a win to secure the league or they needed Bayern Munich to draw or lose their final game against Koln . The day didn’t go as planned for the Dortmund supporters as they watched their team bottle the league at home . The game ended 2:2 and with the help of Jamal Musiala, Bayern Munich snatched the trophy from Dortmund. Bayern Munich hold the record for the winning the league 11 times in a row. This is pure dominance by the German Machines . Paris Saint-Germain has also won the French league 1 title . It was a hard season for the entire team as they had issues internally and also several players had already planned to leave the club. They had to put their differences aside and work together to achieve that goal . The 2023 season comes to end and sadly for football fans , they are going to have to wait for 73 days in order to watch football again ( next season )
