In his final address before the end of his eight-year tenure, President Muhammadu Buhari made a surprising statement, comparing the difficulty of leading Nigerians to that of his cattle and sheep.
The president expressed this sentiment during his speech at the Presidential Inauguration Gala Night held at the State House Conference Centre in Abuja on Sunday.
President Buhari humorously remarked that he eagerly anticipates returning to his farm in Daura, Katsina, where he tends to his livestock.
He quipped that Nigerians pose more challenges than his animals and joked about needing to downsize his cattle and sheep population due to financial constraints after leaving office.
He said: “I am looking forward to tomorrow to fly to my base to go and meet my cattle and sheep, which are much easier to control than fellow Nigerians. But I have to reduce their number, because I cannot save enough to buy them feeds.”
Meanwhile, President Buhari announced the dissolution of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) on Sunday night.
The FEC consists of the president, vice president, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, the president’s Chief of Staff, Head of Service, and Ministers.
A memo released last night confirmed the dissolution of the cabinet.
Today, May 29th, President-elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to be sworn in as Nigeria’s next leader, succeeding President Buhari.

Like one who is h*rny, he has cum.. pleasured, satisfied, done and dusted! Nigerians always miss their past leaders cos things are always getting worse.
