Fans think they know what Mykhailo Mudryk said on camera during Chelsea's honor ceremony after the Newcastle United game.

Chelsea ended their dismal Premier League campaign with a 1-1 draw against Newcastle on Sunday.

Anthony Gordon scored for the visitors, with an own goal after Kieran Trippier's strike at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues finished the 2022/23 season in a very disappointing 12th place, behind Arsenal, Tottenham, Brentford, Fulham and Crystal Palace.

Chelsea simply cannot get going after arrivals in the summer and January, with the £88million Mudryk unable to deliver. The striker played 17 games in all competitions but failed to score a single goal.

After the Chelsea match against Newcastle, the Ukrainian player and his teammates applauded the home team.

The camera panned to him during the victory lap and fans thought they knew what he said in front of the camera.

He appeared to say 'take my best angle' as the camera immediately switched sides, the 22-year-old seemingly nodding in agreement.

Mudryk's moment on the lap of honor sent social media into a frenzy.

One Twitter user wrote:

"I love Mudryk very much."

A second tweet:

"The underdogs are funny, but we need brotherly goals."

The third added:

"This person does not lack confidence, will definitely succeed."

The fourth said:

"He really is a kid, I can't wait for him to shoot."

Another commented:

"Hello aura is crazy, stupid man just needs goals."

Before the draw with Newcastle, Chelsea faced Manchester United, who lost 4-1.

Mudryk was criticized for his performance when he missed a golden opportunity in the early stages of the game at Old Trafford.

His performance angered Gary Neville, who took aim at the player.

"Oh my God, how many times have we seen this in the first half? The ball is hard and stiff," he said. "Unbelievably heavy. It's just confidence, or lack of confidence.

"Looks like he didn't know what he was going to do with it before he got it. It all happened quickly in his head."
