Gloria Opoku Anti, the managing director (MD) of Zoomlion Ghana Limited, has praised the organization's leadership and employees for continuing to uphold the company's reputation throughout the years.
At a ceremony honouring the African Union's (AU) 60th anniversary with the theme "Our Africa, Our Future," she made such a statement.
The management and employees utilised the occasion to encourage staff members to consume traditional cuisines and dishes and to recall how to dress in traditional African fashion.
"At Zoomlion Ghana Limited, we have always utilised this day to commemorate and show our appreciation for our staff's outstanding work throughout the years.
In accordance with this, Jospong Employee Month has been established in May to recognise our personnel in a variety of ways. Ms. Anti said
She mentioned that the Human Resource Department has prepared a number of interesting staff engagement events to foster corporate togetherness after the commencement of the "Jospong Employee Month" Celebrations on Friday, May 5, 2023, and she complimented them for participating completely.
These included career day, medical screening, Zoomlion Goes Old School, breakfast spread with management, and time with HR (Kenkey Party with our junior staff).
Even though morale seemed to be low nationwide, she claimed that these employee engagement events had made her staff members' expressions look happier.
The MD mentioned how the breakfast spread, for example, brought management and employees together on stage to eat, dance, and share some special moments. He continued, "These memories will live with me forever, and I know it will be the same with most of you all."

She urged them to keep cooperating and celebrate the cohesion, strength, and advancement of the business, the nation, and Africa as a whole in order to build the future they envisioned.
I urge everyone to continue living and working in harmony since "our team comes from diverse locations and portions of our continent, yet this in no way divides us as a firm. She said that Zoomlion Ghana Limited was profoundly devoted to the advancement of its employees and that, as a result, it understood how closely its success was related to the development and prosperity of the local communities it served.
"We believe that sustainable development can only be achieved through collaborative efforts where governments, businesses, and workers pursue a hand-in-hand agenda towards our shared vision," she said.
In order to provide opportunities for the children and future generations, she asked the employees to support a culture that encourages innovation, entrepreneurship, and investment.
"Today, we as a firm accept the difficulties that lie ahead.
There are urgent problems on our continent, such as poverty, inequality, climate change, and insufficient healthcare systems.
Despite these difficulties, we must keep in mind that Africa has always been a resilient and resourceful continent.
Zoomlion Ghana Limited will endure the test of time because we have the skill, the drive, and the ingenuity to conquer any challenge in our path.
Additionally, Mrs. Anti revealed that a junior staff welfare fund had been approved for execution and assured that the business was prepared to provide assistance to its younger employees.
