Former Crystal Palace owner Simon Jordan believes Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag mismanaged his transfer budget last summer.

According to Jordan, Ten Hag wasted £90m signing Brazilian winger Antony from Dutch club Ajax.

Ten Hag recently criticized the Manchester United board for not spending in the January transfer window despite spending £220m last summer.

Ten Hag says:

“The club knows that if you want to play in the top four, if you want to compete for titles in this tough league, you have to invest, otherwise you won't progress because other clubs will. .

“We saw it in the winter. All the clubs around us have invested. We didn't and we did it anyway. So I'm really happy and proud of my team.

Reacting to Ten Hag's comments, Jordan said the Old Trafford boss mismanaged the budget assigned to him.

I said:

“Okay, Ten Hag. You should have spent £170m in August and £50m in January. Would that suit you better?

“No, you decided to withdraw early and spend £220m in the August transfer window.

"What did you do with that?" One of the most important parts is Antony.

Responding to co-host Jim White's suggestion that Jordan "have something" about Antony and especially his price, he added:

“Because he is CP. He's worth £90 million a year!

“He spent £220 million. What he said was £220m, thanks, I'll take it, but what have you done for me lately?

"There's no reason why I failed in January because of me. I didn't improve Antony and he didn't deliver, but I made you spend £90m on him.
