Jose Mourinho, the head coach of Roma, has asserted that he has not spoken with any other teams about leaving the Italian capital this summer.
Although the Portuguese manager still has one year left on his Stadio Olimpico deal, he has been frequently linked with moves abroad in recent weeks.
Due to his restoration of Roma's European pedigree, Paris Saint-Germain has been mentioned as being interested. Mourinho's former club Real Madrid is rumored to have held negotiations with him contemplating a return to the Santiago Bernabeu should they fire Carlo Ancelotti.
Mourinho was questioned about if he had been in contact with any other teams prior to Wednesday's Europa League final matchup against Sevilla.
Really, I have no interaction with any other clubs, according to Mourinho. I consider what we want to do tomorrow because we want to play.
Roma haven't finished in the top four of Serie A in either of Mourinho's two seasons in charge, but he has guided them to back-to-back European finals.
The Giallorossi defeated Feyenoord in the Europa Conference League final from the previous season, and if they defeat Sevilla in Budapest, they will become the first side to win both that league and the Europa League.
Although Sevilla has a perfect record at this round of the Europa League with six victories from six, Mourinho has won all five of his prior European finals.
"History does not play," Mourinho added. We are in the final because we deserve it; they have a history that we don't have. "My colleague [Sevilla coach Jose Luis Mendilibar] thinks otherwise, and I respect him for that. He believes history makes Sevilla the favorites; I understand that.
"For us, competing in a Europa League final is a remarkable event. For them, it's regular. For our fans, going to a final will be an experience they will never forget. For their fans, it will be like leaving the league.
