Atalanta has made an asking price for Manchester United transfer target Rasmus Hojlund, according to a new report.
United have been linked with a move to Hojlund, 20, in the months following an impressive debut campaign in Serie A.
The Denmark international signed for Austrian side SK Sturm Graz in August and scored eight goals in 31 appearances for Gian Piero Gasperini's side.
He has also performed well internationally, scoring his first hat-trick in Denmark's 3-1 win over Finland in March. He followed that up with a brace in a 2-3 loss to Kazakhstan three days later. Advertisement
According to the Manchester Evening News, United manager Erik ten Hag held "several video calls" with Hojlund to discuss a possible move to Old Trafford this summer.
The Dutchman is eyeing a striker this summer, with Marcus Rashford already under considerable pressure to build on the scoring momentum for the team this season.
Rashford has scored 30 goals in all competitions, but the club's second-highest scorer is Bruno Fernandes, who has 13.

United have been linked with a move for Tottenham star Harry Kane, with Napoli's Victor Osimhen and Frankfurt's Randal Kolo Muani both marked as potential alternatives.
However, the club now know the asking price to sign Hojlund, according to a new report. Atalanta 'set asking price Hojlund'
90min claimed that Atalanta will demand a fee of between €65 million and €70 million to sell the Danish striker to another club.

The price tag would make Hojlund a club record deal, currently at the €55m Atalanta received as part of the deal to bring midfielder Cristian Romero to Tottenham last year.
And while Hojlund is certainly not a cheap offer for United, he fits the attacking configuration they are trying to bring in.
Multiple reports suggest the club are keen to sign two strikers this summer, with a younger centre-back accompanied by a more experienced figure.
However, with an initial transfer budget of £100m (according to The Athletic), United may have to pick the players they sign - or raise enough money through sales to ensure they receive deals they want this summer.
