Brentford goalkeeper David Raya started between the sticks. The goalkeeper had an excellent campaign, keeping 13 clean sheets in the country.
The defense consisted of Newcastle United's Kieran Trippier, who had a significant impact on the Reds' backline.
Next to him is Ruben Dias, who played a key role in the Citizens title campaign. Rounding out the defensive quartet are William Saliba and Luke Shaw, both of whom have displayed remarkable consistency and defensive prowess throughout the season. In midfield, Kelvin De Bruyne took his place after finishing as the best passer. His creative genius and playing ability were on full display. West Ham's Declan Rice was his teammate, who demonstrated defensive tenacity and exceptional ball distribution.
On the flanks, Bukayo Saka and Marcus Rashford added speed, skill and flair to the team after their stellar individual campaigns.
At the front of the line are two prolific strikers Erling Braut Haaland and Harry Kane. Haaland's goalscoring record is nothing short of extraordinary as he has scored an impressive 36 goals. Kane ended the campaign with 30 goals.
This Premier League Team of the Season represents the best individuals who have made a positive impact during the 2022/23 campaign. Their performances, both individually and collectively, have played a central role in shaping the outcome of this season.

Both Chelsea and Manchester United are on the hunt for a central striker this summer.
Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino could greatly benefit from a deal led by Marina Granovskaia as she is still working at the club in a bid to beat Manchester United to sign Tammy Abraham. Pochettino was officially announced as the new Chelsea manager this week and the Argentine is expected to make a number of changes this summer.
Most of the action at Stamford Bridge is expected to take place outdoors, with Chelsea building a prolific squad over the past 12 months. Mason Mount is among a number of players about to leave the west London club. But Pochettino will also want to sign a central striker seen as a priority. However, Chelsea are not alone in wanting to sign an elite goalscorer, with United also hunting for a No 9.
Harry Kane is believed to be their main target, although United are looking for alternatives should Tottenham continue. It is reported that United have sent scouts to watch Abraham play for Roma this season.
The 25-year-old has enjoyed life in Serie A since leaving Chelsea for Roma in 2021, helping the team win the Europa Conference League last year. But the Telegraph claim Roma will be looking to cash in on Abraham this summer, with the Italian club under financial fair play scrutiny.
This could benefit United, with Erik ten Hag seen as a huge fan of the England striker. However, Granovskaia clearly sensed that Chelsea would want to be involved in bringing Abraham back to the Premier League when he was sold two years ago.
It was previously reported that Granovskaia had negotiated a buyout clause worth 70 million while Chelsea also accepted the first refusal if Roma received an offer from another team for Abraham. The Italian side is unlikely to hit the 70m fee that should have been included in Abraham's contract, but Chelsea's refusal to meet a bid for the first time could prove significant. United and Chelsea will want to get their strikers sorted out before pre-season training begins. For Pochettino, it is even more urgent to get things sorted out as soon as possible to try to get Chelsea back on track starting next season.
Ten Hag may be willing to wait a little longer, but the United boss will want his No 9 in place before the start of the campaign. Abraham may not be the first choice for either club, but the striker is a proven Premier League goalscorer and someone Chelsea knows well.
This is exactly what both sides need and the Blues could be grateful that it was included in Abraham's contract two years ago.
