This season, Manchester United have struggled to score, with Marcus Rashford's main task being to find the opponent's net. But next season things could change with the potential signing of Mason Mount and a new striker.

With David de Gea set to extend his contract, the Spaniard is likely to retain his place as first choice goalkeeper even if United do eventually sign another goalkeeper like Diogo Costa. or David Raya from Brentford.

The back four could include Luke Shaw at left-back, Lisandro Martinez and Varane at centre-back while Bayer Leverkusen's attacking full-back could be signed to compete for the right-back spot. with Dalot and Wan-Bisaka.

In Casemiro midfield, new central midfielders (Declan Rice or Frenkie de Jong) Mason Mount and Bruno Fernandes can help United challenge for the Premier League title alongside Marcus Rashford and a new striker in attack. Cristiano Ronaldo in action

Al-Nassr missed out on the Saudi Pro League championship as Al-Ittihad battled to rise to the top. Despite the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Al-Nassr was unable to close the gap, and it proves their title aspirations are dented. The failure of the Saudi Arabian giants to raise the trophy has led to various speculations, but the Portuguese have quashed any rumors.

Ronaldo signed for Al-Nassr on a free transfer from Manchester United when the two sides decided to terminate the contract. The 38-year-old has had a good season for the team, having been involved in 16 goals in 16 appearances in the Saudi Pro League.

Cristiano Ronaldo updates his future at Al-Nassr

The former Real Madrid star continues to be linked back to European football, but he remains steadfast in his stance that he will continue to play for Al-Nassr next season. In an interview with the Saudi Premier League, Ronaldo revealed his desire.

"I think the tournament is very good but I think we still have a lot of room to grow. I think the tournament is very good, it's competitive. we have very good teams, we have very good Arab players. I think they need to improve the infrastructure a bit more. Referee and VAR system. I think they should be a bit faster. I think other small things need to be improved. but I am happy here, I want to stay here, I will continue to be here.

"And in my opinion, if they keep doing the work they want to do, then in the next five years I think the Saudi League could be the fifth (first division) league in the world."

Ronaldo further highlighted the main difference between the European League and the Saudi Pro League.

"An example is in Europe we train more in the morning, but here we train in the afternoon or evening and during Ramadan we train at 10pm. Strangely enough, but as I told you, these situations are part of an experience, of memories.

I love living these moments because we learn with these things. It's tough, but it's not something I haven't seen before. My experience so far is that Saudi Arabian fans really love football and love to live and that's good and I'm very happy now.
