BEFORE THE FA CUP FINAL, GRAEME SOUNESS PREDICTED THAT NOT A SINGLE MAN UNITED PLAYER WILL MAKE MAN

In fact, I'll go so far as to say that I think every City change at Wembley on Saturday would improve United's lineup. Every position in the City has a better player, from one to eleven and beyond. I know that this will not win me many friends in Manchester's red neighborhood, but I have given it a lot of consideration.

I might be questioned by someone who asks, "What about Bruno Fernandes? Considering Marcus Rashford Now tell me where Fernandes plays. as opposed to Ilkay Gundogan? John De Bruyne? None at all.

Rashford is in the same situation. He is not allowed to enter before Bernardo Silva or Jack Grealish. Riyad Mahrez and Phil Foden would also be in front of him, but they wouldn't enter City's strongest side at the time.

Since February, Rashford has netted three Premier League goals. As the season comes to a close, your star players ought to be contributing.

Is the United midfielder Casemiro better than Rodri despite his success and high caliber of play? Let's go. Once more, no chance. There are a few United players who would be on City's roster, but not many more.

All of this does not preclude United from winning on Saturday, and this is a very important "but." Although Wigan defeated City in 2013, and I don't believe they will do so now, our game is incredibly unpredictable.

What do I anticipate happening? City will control the ball, play in United's half, create a plethora of scoring opportunities, and triumph. The fact that it's a derby makes no difference. It simply won't factor into it, particularly for City.

All I could think about during these important cup finals were the opponents I would face and anyone who would harm my squad. I had some anxiety going into these games, and that anxiety really got the best of me. No terror existed, but

Your attention is on that, not a derby. Even while there may be a lot of buzz leading up to the event, on the day itself, everyone is focused on the game. This is a global stage; the localism has been removed.

The Champions League final the following weekend won't divert City either. They are too talented and committed for that. They intend to make history, and I believe they will. But of the two finals, this one will be more challenging. They'll likely defeat Inter Milan in Istanbul, in my opinion.

City has consistently demonstrated that it is capable of winning the Champions League. They ought to have completed it by now. They are now independent of United and the others.

they're on their way to being among the best club teams we've ever seen.

They may have the largest budget, but other teams, such as United, have also made substantial expenditures, but not quite as much as City. They have done a great job in recruiting. And that is the main factor behind their significant lead over United.

It's our job to make things seem much more convoluted than they actually are, but the answer is straightforward—they have invested more money in better players.
