Manchester United have joined Chelsea in the race for Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana, according to a report in Sports Mole.
Onana played every minute of Inter's journey to the 2022-23 Champions League final, keeping five clean sheets in six knockout matches, including two legs of the Nerazzurri's semi-final against AC Milan.
Although they only joined Inter Milan as a free agent from Ajax last summer, Manchester United and Chelsea are trying to sign Onana this summer.
Chelsea are said to be interested in the former Ajax player, with new head coach Mauricio Pochettino said to be ready for a raid in the summer.
The Blues are likely to lose at least one Edouard Mendy or Kepa Arrizabalaga this summer as they can try to use Inter's interest in Trevoh Chalobah to their advantage. Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag worked with Onana at Ajax and is keen to reunite with the Manchester United goalkeeper.
Onana left Barcelona's academy in 2015 to join Ajax - two years before Ten Hag was appointed head coach - and the pair enjoyed a very good relationship in Amsterdam.
Onana won three Eredivisie titles under Ten Hag and was in the middle of Ajax's memorable run in the 2018-19 Champions League, which ended in a heartbreaking semi-final at the hands of Tottenham.
It is believed Inter Milan will want to sell Onana this summer if he receives an offer worth £40m.

Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone has denied claims that his system would not be suitable for Joao Felix.
Felix has just completed a six-month loan deal with Chelsea. New coach Mauricio Pochettino has chosen not to keep the Portuguese striker.
"It would be a lie to say that we didn't play well because João Félix was there. And if now, he will play just as well. I don't conflict with him, I make it clear to him and tell him how I feel. He knows what my training record is and he knows that I love to train," Simeone told Partidazo Cope.
Felix, who has long been linked with Barcelona, ??has previously said he feels more free at Chelsea than at Atletico.
“I will have no opinion on that because I always understand the moment the players are in. And if not with us, let him do it on another team. "He will be very important to them (Barça). He has great qualities, he shoots well with his left foot, has a good header, has a good right foot and has an eye for the game. He will be a player. what he wants to be. I have no problem with anyone.
