Antony's ankle injury will probably prevent him from recovering in time to play against Manchester City in the FA Cup final on Saturday, according to Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag.
After sustaining an ankle injury during United's 4-1 victory over Chelsea, Antony missed the team's last Premier League match and was questionable to play in Saturday's cup final.
Just 24 hours before the trip to Wembley, the manager has changed his tone and stated he does not anticipate seeing the Brazilian play. After that domestic finale, Ten Hag had stated that Antony would "probably" be fit enough to face City.
Ten Hag judged Antony's prospects of survival as "unlikely."
"Antony still has a shot, but it's really slim. Although it is improbable that he is accessible, he still has a chance because he made no progress.
Anthony Martial, a striker, is one player who won't play at all. The Frenchman suffered a hamstring injury against Fulham, and due to worries about his fitness, he will miss 33 of United's games this season across all competitions.
