The alleged rape of a young woman occurred on the night of December 30 and 31, 2017, at the Sutton nightclub in Barcelona, and the former Brazilian footballer is accused of it.
Since then, Alves and the alleged victim have both given testimony numerous times.
The testimony of the young woman's cousin has now been made public following her final words, which were recorded and broadcast by the Cuatro program "En boca de todos."
She wanted to describe the feelings of the purported victim. It should be noted that Dani Alves has been detained for the past four months while awaiting trial, and the judge in the case has repeatedly denied his requests for bail.
The complainant's relative confirms that the victim was too terrified to disclose the assault.
The young woman's cousin, who was with her that evening and has offered crucial material for the investigation, describes what transpired following the alleged rape in the Catalan nightclub restrooms.
They were joking around. She claimed that he insisted on leaving, that she had informed him where to go, and that he had remained silent. My cousin went on her own accord," she said.
"She believed that they would speak, and I told her to go settle the dispute. I made her a wave. 15 or 20 minutes passed. Dani arrived first. She wore a dejected expression.
She confessed to me that she had been severely injured by him, that he had ejaculated inside of her, and that she wanted to run away.
The young woman was reluctant to report it because she believed she would expose a renowned person and that no one would have believed her, according to her cousin, who made her accusations even more compelling.
She didn't want to report it, and they told us that the protocol had to be activated," she continued.
Additionally, the claimed victim's cousin has shared the messages she communicated with Dani Alves' friend Bruno in the days following the event.
"Let's become close. My residence is in... I'm not always here, but I'm available whenever you need me.
"Thank you very much and the same to you," the complainant's relative responded. New Year's greetings.
