Cristiano Ronaldo admits he did not want for Al Nassr to finish the season without a trophy, but the Portuguese forward says he is content in Saudi Arabia and hopes other well-known players would join him there for the upcoming season.
Ronaldo made his debut with Al Nassr in January after signing a two-and-a-half-year deal worth more than 200 million euros ($220.16 million), according to the media.
Al Nassr finished second behind Al Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League (SPL), despite the fact that he scored 14 goals in 16 games.
The 38-year-old, who was injured and missed the last matchday, claimed the league was extremely competitive but that there were plenty of chances to advance.
"We have extremely strong teams and excellent Arab players, but the infrastructure still needs some work. In an SPL interview, he stated that even the officials and the VAR system "should be a little quicker."
But I'm content here, I intend to stay here, and I will stay here.
Although there were numerous contrasts from his time in Europe, where he played for great clubs like Manchester United, Juventus, and Real Madrid, Ronaldo claimed he had adjusted to life at the club.
"We workout more in the morning in Europe, whereas here we train later in the day or at night. We begin our training at ten o'clock at night when Ramadan begins. It was so bizarre, he continued.
Lionel Messi has received an official offer to join Al-Hilal for the upcoming season, and a number of other elite players have been linked with moves to the Saudi league since Ronaldo's arrival.
Karim Benzema, a former teammate of Ronaldo's and a Ballon d'Or winner, reportedly has an offer worth more than 100 million euros from Al Ittihad.
Ronaldo stated, "Big players and big names, new players, and 'old players' are all very welcome if they're coming.
"If it occurs, the league will slightly improve. Age is not a factor.
