Sam Allardyce has been relieved of his managerial duties by mutual consent, according to Leeds.
After being hired in a last-ditch effort to keep Leeds in the Premier League with four games left in the season, Allardyce, 68, was unable to prevent them from being relegated.
"Leeds United and Sam Allardyce can confirm that both parties have mutually agreed that Sam's stint at the club will end following the conclusion of the 2022–23 season," the club said in a statement.

As Leeds looks to return to the top flight, Allardyce has now revealed he is unable to commit to a "long-term project" after saying following the club's final game of the season that he would discuss his future in the position.
"It has been an honor to manage Leeds United, a great club with an incredible fan base, who deserve to be in the Premier League," the former England manager stated.
"I want to thank Angus Kinnear for the chance; I have truly enjoyed working with the staff and players at the club.
"I'd also like to recognize the excellent job done over the previous few weeks by (assistants) Karl Robinson and Robbie Keane.
"At this point in my career, I'm not sure I could commit to taking on this challenge, which could be a lengthy undertaking. Nonetheless, I wish the club much success in the future and hope they return to the Premier League, where they belong."
