It was a very hectic day and I was so much exhausted in my job hunting that very Friday afternoon. The hot sun was draining the little energy left in me and I entered a near by shop to get a cold water to cool off before continuing my journey back home. The shop was so massive that I even had two mind of going back, "how can I ask of common sachet water in such a big and busy shop where rich people are shopping? " I said to myself as I was already discouraged. I pretended to be making calls and made a u-turn but the sales girl standing outside caught me.
"Hey bro, what can we do for you?" She asked dressed smartly and her speech was so fluent.
" Sorry I am looking for where I can get a cold sachet water" I said already turned my back against the shop.
"Come let me serve u here please" she said and I stopped smiling sheepishly.
I went back to the shop and she attended to me with respect I never bargained for, I was impressed with the way costumers and the sellers are interacting there. That alone made me conclude that their friendship alone is their charm behind their sells.
"Sorry for wasting ur time please, I was stopped by my boss and she want to see u in her office please" she said and as she handed the water to me.
"Please how did he or she know that am here please?" I asked confusedly.
"We have CCTV camera here and she is in her office watching everything, can you go and see her please? " She explained.
" Hope I haven't done anything wrong?" I asked intensively.
"I don't think so, just follow me" she said and I followed her to the office door.
"Here is her office, u are cute" the sales girl said and I looked back at her suspiciously and smiled back at her lustful smile.
Entering the office, I saw a younger chubby lady in her early 30s seating with her leg crossed on a moveable office chair. She was so charming with the eyeglass she wore, she looks so rich and soft in speech.
"Have a seat" she said and I sat still wondering why she asked me to come in.
"Good afternoon ma'am" I greeted as I sat and placed my hand on the table in-between me and her.
"Am Debbie and u?" She asked ignoring my greetings.
"Divine" I answered plainly.
" Courageous people go for what they want without waiting for the second chance, I like u and I think u need help" she said and I opened my mouth wide as she mentioned, 'u need help'.
" Yes I need a job please" I answered quickly now getting relieved.
My name is Divine and I have been looking for job since I graduated from school, I spent some months in the east without seeing any and I was advised by my friend Jacob to go to Lagos State and try my luck.
Since I was the breadwinner of my poor family I didn't hesitated to buy the idea of traveling to Lagos just as my friend advised me. I spent a year in Lagos without a job and Jacob kept advising me to keep searching that one day God will bless me with a mouthwatering salary job. It was on my usual job seeking that I was coming back from when I encountered Debbie.

"Can you work?" She asked after looking at me for some seconds smiling.
"Yes ma'am"
"I told u my name, Debbie or call me lady cash instead" she corrected and I apologized immediately.
" Sorry lady Cash, I can work" I corrected.
"Good, I sighted u via CCTV camera and I think u can be good to go, hope u will be loyal to me because I hate mistakes" she asked now looking a bit strict.
" Definitely Lady Cash" I answered.
"Here is my card, call me by 7:00pm, make sure u dress well because that alone turns me on, u can go" she said as she handed the card and some cash to me.
I was marvelled, I became speechless, I just collected the money and appreciated her as I left without asking questions.
My friend Jacob was already in the kitchen before I return. Jacob have been the one feeding and footing all my bills since I came to Lagos, he never complained for once but I wasn't comfortable with that. I am a man and I have to be contributing no matter how small.
"U came back late, hope all is well?" He asked and I nodded positively and reluctantly stretched out my hand for handshake.
"What happened?" He asked further with concern.
"All is well bro, let's finish cooking so I can tell u how today goes" I said and smiled it off and he concurred.
