The Phobians are looking to add a reliable and skilled midfielder to their team in time for the next Ghana Premier League season.

Banahene is thought to have been chosen by the Ghanaian powerhouses as the ideal midfielder who can complete the squad before the start of the new season.

"Hearts of Oak has shown interest in me, and we are now in negotiations, but we have not yet settled on a fee. We are still in negotiations even though neither party has reached a consensus. Hearts of Oak may get better the following season if they get their act together and hire a competent coach, and that is what is motivating me to go up with them, he told Kessben FM.

The 28-year-old joined Bibiani Goldstars in February 2023 and contributed to the team's fifth-place finish in the Ghana Premier League standings the previous year.

I disagreed with the GFA's decision to suspend Amos Addae after the CAS verdict.

Amos Addae, a former player for AshantiGold SC, claims he was dissatisfied with the Ghana Football Association (GFA) when it first suspended players for alleged match-fixing offenses.

Last Monday, the GFA's penalty of the players was completely reversed by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).

The Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana FA reportedly penalized 21 players for allegedly tampering with the outcome of Ashgold vs. Inter Allies' match on match day 34, which the home team won 7-0 in just two seasons ago.

When asked how the suspension affected him, Addae, who served as captain during the alleged match-fixing, expressed his displeasure with the GFA's initial decision because it had a detrimental impact on the majority of players.

"I occasionally feel let down by the GFA. The Ghana Premier League pays its players poorly, therefore their suspension had an impact. How would they provide for their family's needs? He spoke to Adom FM.

He disclosed that he is currently in the United Kingdom, working with his wife to rebuild from scratch.

"How would I have provided for the family if it weren't for my wife's assistance in the UK? It's hard to live here. In Ghana, a seven-month stay at a 5-star hotel would cost the same amount as a month's rent on an apartment in the UK. He spoke.

"Our leaders must occasionally deliberate carefully before making judgments. One suspended player had a contract in Serbia, but he returned because of the suspension tag attached to him, the referee continued.

Amos Addae scored 9 goals in 50 games for AshantiGold SC in the Ghana Premier League.
